Drosophila are sold in living cultures. The chromosomal position of the different characteristics is shown in brackets after each strain.

We breed all our Drosophila in house in our recently (summer 2024) modernised fly lab. In peak times or for large bulk orders please contact us for availability.

Small cultures: contains approximately 30 of each stage; Adult, Pupae, Larvae and Eggs.

Large cultures: contains approximately 100 of each stage; Adult, Pupae, Larvae and Eggs.

100 Adults: Non segregated adults, there may be some eggs in the vial on arrival.

Segregated Male: contains approximately 30 males. (Notice required, check for availability. Must be sent by Special Delivery).

Segregated Virgin Female: contains approximately 30 virgin females. (Notice required, check for availability. Must be sent by Special Delivery).
