Owl pellets allow students to engage in the fascinating detective work of identifying the prey species of owls from the array of bones, fur, feathers, bills, claws, teeth and even insects found in their pellets. Students will also learn about the morphology of these species so they can infer their relatedness and lifestyles.
The Owl Pellets are from wild owls, individually wrapped, chemical free and have been heat sterilized at 250° F for 4 hours.
