Defibrinated Horse Blood is collected aseptically, then processed mechanically to remove the fibrin, this prevents the blood from clotting. Defibrinated Horse Blood may be used in the preparation of culture media.

The blood is a fresh product with a limited shelf life (you can always contact us for current batch availability and expiry date) and must be stored in a fridge.

Please allow 1 weeks notice, however during school term times we try to hold stock so delivery may be quicker.
